Description:
|
This park is located near the center of the city. It spans 1,419 acres, and features a lovely 30-acre lake surrounded by trails and picnic areas. This park also contains a two-story log house that dates back to the mid 1700's, which was relocated to the park in 1969. It's believed to be the oldest building still standing in Richland County. Built originally in the 1930's by the Civilian Conservation Corps, the evidence of their work is still present today.

Monday - Sunday - 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. (extended from 7 a.m. - 9 p.m. during Daylight Savings Time)
